Packed with information
There are some imperfections in the text as some review already mentioned, but I could not care less. This book is packed with great and very useful information. It manages to compact it well and give you the juice. In some parts it is repetitive, but it is because it's the same effect under a different scope.

In short, packed with great information and very useful. It also seems convincing because references are everywhere, and the author avoids exaggerations and bold statements.

A Truly Enjoyable Book
This is so much more than a book on body language; Joe Navarro packs the data in between great little stories, and if your'e not careful, you might even find yourself laughing a bit, as Navarro's sense of humor adds just enough spice to keep things flowing in a very pleasant way. Now, for the body language. If body language is something you are interested in, this is one book that needs to be in your library.

Great introduction to Reading People
This was the first book of its kind that I read and loved it. It was very descriptive with lots of good pictures. I learned so much from this book and felt it was written by a very experienced person. Great book

very in depth book but simple to understand
I enjoyed this book very much. It gives you a perspective on certain key signs that we all do daily to what is going through our mind. Although the author clearly states what he has learned is not 100% accurate, a good portion is VERY accurate. I was with friends in a restaurant watching football this past sunday and observed two couples near me and noticed the woman giving all signs of being agitated (things not obvious unless you read this book). Five minutes later, I noticed she was the one geting the bill with her credit card!

Too much verbiage
I found the book informative, but wading through the first 56 pages was a real chore, skip the theory and cut to the chase. Through out the entire book the author repeats the obvious multiple times and sometimes uses real life examples so obvious to anyone but an idiot that they would have been better left out. He just seems to go on and on. Good, tight editing could have reduced the book by a quarter and made it much more readable. Also, the literature citations throughout the book just bog down the text. It's not a scientific treatise, even if the author thinks it is!
