Little yellow leafGreat read-aloud to toddlers and pre-schoolers; wonderful for young readers. Also can be used in elementary classrooms by teachers to develop empathy, sharing, and understandings of basic human feelings.

The Little Yellow LeafLovely story with excellent illustrations, however my four-year old grandson told me that the story is too short.

A classicThis book is a celebration of trees, of nature, of friendship and of finding your own way in the world. It's beautifully illustrated and my only complaint is that I'd like to see the book in wall frieze format so I can look at the imagery every day!

The Little Yellow LeafI loved this book; it was a wonderful story of a hesitant leaf and its friend. The story is touching and the illustration is wonderful. All around the book is a wonderful example of Carin Berger's talent and wonderful storytelling. I loved this book.

touching and beautiful on many levelsthe little yellow leaf is touching and beautiful on many levelsl. it really captures the nostalgic feeling of fall and combines it with the fear of change, and the need to let go and trust that everything will be ok. visually, it's exquisite. thoughtfulness is alive in every aspect of the book, from the minute details iin each illustration, to the carefully selected words which perfectly convey the feelings of the little trepid leaf, to the encouraging and hopeful message that's conveyed. i love this book. it opens my heart.
