A GREAT WAY TO LIVE
I recommend this book to all of my students. This has been a gift to family and friends for decades. To me, it is a basic to remind us who we are and what this life really is.
Written with a bit of joy and humor, the deeper learning slips directly in. A good one to reread each year to remind us all.
I first read this on an airplane a week after my separation 25 years ago. It lightened my heart and opened my mind to the grand adventure and beauty of life unfolding.
Short and direct a good book to have at your fingertips to keep life in perspective. Thanks Richard.

Magical
Richard Bach's "Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah" is one of my most cherished books. It went with me when I hitchhiked on sailboats in the Bahamas for a year. There was something about Don, the super-advanced Messiah's miracles that sparked my imagination and gave me hope. I loved the book's startling questions. "What if a super-advanced being came along who could teach us how the world works and how to control it? Is the world an illusion?" and "Can we know the reality behind the illusions?" The adventure story and friendship between Richard and Don, the two airplane pilots, is both entertaining and inspiring. I also enjoyed the wisdom in the Messiah's Handbook such as "Here is a test to find whether your mission on earth is finished: If you're alive it isn't." One of the skippers I sailed was so captivated by the book he bought his own copy.

Excellent
This is Richard Bach's masterpiece. If you want to invest 2 hours straight in reading a book, this will be the one, and this will probably be the best investment ever. Bach's adventure is full of inspiration, get ready to be blessed with joy, beauty and wisdom.

A book to read, then read 10 more times!
This book happily holds the title of my favorite book of all time. I first read it 15 years ago, and it's still held strong as the best. It's inspirational, adventurous, and deep. It's an easy read, yet you'll never forget it. If you're anything like me, your copy will end up highlighted, bent, wrinkled, broken, and beautiful.

Illusions of the Universe
Richard Bach has created an Illusion for all of us to investigate. Is it real or is the Reluctant Messiah our hope? Might we find the meaning of our life and discover that it is all an illusion? The questions are engrossing and the book thought provoking.
