Maybe too fancy?There are many good recipes in this book, but I would like to see more "normal" or comfort food recipes modified to work with the South Beach diet.

OK but not what I wantedThe cookbook was not the one I really wanted. I found out that I wanted the "quick and easy" recipes. This one is more involved than I wanted.

Best Cook Book I Ever Bought.I bought this book book to follow up with the SouthBeach Diet Book. This cook book added such a great variety to our meals. My husband said, "If these are the meals I'm eating on this diet, I'll stay on this diet forever." They're delicious and easy to prepare. Thanks for a new eating lifestyle...

Now that's what I like - diet recipes that are also tasty!The recipe book and its companion paperback guide make it easy to sort out where all the "sugar" and "fats" are hidden in the prepared foods at the grocery store so you can make healthy decisions according to your own needs. The recipes are good - some a bit too fancy for our tastes - but all can me modified with the foods and spices on the lists that you like. We've also found several new favorites!
