This was popular in 91-94! This was our Generation.
This kinda music was popular before Gen-X was in there Late teens and 20's But Unlike todays music. Oh I have to copy there music and then mix it with crappy Hip-Hop Junk.Yeah so please keep your opinions to yourself. Especially if you don't know anything about Acen, Servants Of Power, etc.Or even 808 State!.lol.But thats mostly all you young adults do today is Trash people if you don't like something!.Sad.Peace!

Beware the Best Of's in techno releases
Not only does this release destroy the existence of techno by symbolizing it as pascifier-music (from the cover art), it misleads everyone on earth who is trying to get into all types of techno by cramming this disc full of early 90's style house and jungle tracks, which weren't all bad, I'll admit. There were about 3 songs that I could get into. The rest keep going and going till you advance to the next track.

If the style of techno you like is closer to "underground 90's beats," buy this comp. They had a few I really got into, like the Human Resource, Servants of Power, and Bizarre Inc tracks. The Rotterdam Termination Source track I've actually heard at raves, but the rest are hard to place as being some of the "best" tracks for techno's history. If you like Depeche Mode, the last track by Pornotanz (?) samples "People Are People," but that's not saying much.

Go try a more varied compilation like any of the Digital Empire volumes if you're looking for a Best Of in techno, because with so many techno tracks out, you can't focus on just the underground 90's material.

what a waste
What a waste of money. The CD is misleading... It was produced over 10 years ago and doesn't sound good at all.

Amazon u kick arse!--I can't believe I found the hard to find 89-92.songs in here kick arse!--Dominator,50,000 Watts Of Power!..James Brown is still Alive there was 2 versions of this song James Brown is dead.-8)..Yup its official Oldschool is gold!-=Yokid k-Your in the house....The Early 90's Techno and the dance groups were so cool and hot remember 2 Unlimited."Ok Lets go to work".Get Ready for this.lol.I wish techno came back in 2006 along with Trance.Europe has the coolest and hottest Dance groups over there.Ian Van Dahl,4 Strings, Lasgo etc..Milk Inc.-The music videos are banned in America!-Over Hip-Hop...Boring..
