While in Barbados we decided to take the Jolly Roger cruise. The Merrymen were playing on the ship that night. Really good music. Glad Amazon is going to stock the CD's as even though they are produced in Canada you can't buy them here either!

Lively and enchanting Caribbean music
While on a Caribbean cruise about four years ago, we stopped in Barbados. One of the shops on the dock had this CD playing in the courtyard, and I was absolutely enchanted by the music. The title song "Hot Hot Soca" is one that every Caribbean music group sings, but none can come close to how well the Merrymen do it. The same is true for several other common Caribbean songs. It is all you can do to resist singing and dancing along with the album.
I purchased one copy as a gift and have been looking in vain for a copy for four years. I am overjoyed that it will be released in the United States.
