The ultimate in self-worship
How many groups could rise to notoriety on a string of 12" singles featuring trashy techno tracks with lyrics all about living life going the wrong way in the fast lane, release an album which is a collection of most of those 12" singles plus some additional material packed with sleaze and sneer, cheekily entitle the CD GREATEST HITS...and not only get away with it, but be absolutely right about the title?

Sheep On Drugs can do all this...and so much more.

"King" Duncan and "Dead" Lee have cut a serious swath through the techno and alt-rock scenes with their unmistakable in your face style of digital punk. And they did four more albums after this one. Can you handle it?

If you think you can...step up.

I don;t know what the hell these other people are talking about. This album i would put in the top ten of all time record that i love. I listened to this album in my car when it came out for 5 months straight. Anyone looking to buy sheep on drugs should get this album. Forget what all these other loser say, and get this.

A good sample..
In my opinion, this is the only "Sheep On Drugs CD" that anyone will need. Their best stuff is on this CD, but their music is pretty uninteresting in general.

Not a cut above, but certainly a cut.
Not swayed by Britty nostalgia, I'd say this is somewhat dated but still listenable. Its status well below the cutting edge is a deserving one, simply for the reason that there is better stuff out there in each of the sub-genres they supposedly span & blur. I question this album's ability to make one a believer if not already a blinded fan.

Not Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!!!
Sorry, I just had to do that. I am going to cut all the pretention, going on about the reasons of this albums greatness. It is just great. Really really good. And they are English, too. Whoever said you can't have too much of a good thing? Not goth, not techno, not industrial, not....anything really, but at the same time so very much. VERY, VERY good live, as well.
