A perfect gift for new homemakers, the food processor has become an integral part of modern cooking, speeding up a multitude of processes, including kneading dough, slicing, chopping, shredding cheese, vegetables and meat, mincing garlic and parsley, mixing batters, and emulsifying mayonnaise. Cuisinart's Pro Classic comes with a 7-cup work bowl, four basic attachments for slicing, shredding, chopping, mixing, and kneading, and also features two feed tube options, one big enough to handle a whole potato. This processor comes with a compact cover for use when the feed tube isn't needed and a pulse control that allows the desired degree of fineness when chopping and puréeing. Remove the detachable stem for compact storage of discs. All the parts are dishwasher-safe and the motor base wipes clean. I purchased this as a gift for my son. He had asked for it and I watched the ads for a best price. I was able to purchase it for $99 no tax no shipping! The best local price was $99 and I would have had to drive to purchase plus pay sales tax. I was very pleased with this transaction!!!

Couldn't be happier
Love it! Love it! Love it! This is the best thing I have bought myself in a long time. I can't believe it has taken me so long to buy a food processor. I think this is the best "first" food processor - it's very easy to use, the instruction book & video are clear and understandable. While I'm sure the bigger, fancier processors can do a lot more, this one is perfect for me since it is simple, straightforward and easy to use. Also, clean up is a unbelievably easy. Now I want to cook all the time! I actually go out of my way to find recipes that include lots of ingredients requiring chopping, slicing, dicing and grating. Before I used to avoid these types of recipes because I couldn't stand having to do all the prep work.

powerful! big enough for most home uses.
This machine made me realize how underpowered and flimsy my old food processor (KitchenAid 5-cup) was. This Cuisinart has all of the power and capacity I need for home use. The one down side is how complicated some of the moving parts are, which can make it difficult to assemble, learn to operate, and clean. But it's worth it! And its box is smaller than my old processor, even with its larger capacity. I have nothing against KitchenAid generally, but this food processor is worlds away as far as quality, performance, and compactness. Highly recommended!

I AM A 64 YR. OLD MAN. I'M AM EXCELLENT COOK & HAVE BEEN COOKING SINCE I WAS 6 YRS OLD. MY FATHER TAUGHT ME. HE WAS A CHEF. I JUST PURCHASED A 14 CUP CUISNART FOOD PROCESSOR. I HAVE ALL GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT IT. VERY EASY TO USE, CLEAN, & DOES SO MANY THINGS I USED TO DO BY HAND. IT'S FASTER, FUN TO USE, VERY STRONG & HEFTY, YET COMPACT. IT IS EASY TO STORE OR LEAVE IT ON THE COUNTR TOP & SHOW OFF. I AM VERY HARD TO PLEASE OR CHANGE FROM THE OLD WAYS. THIS CUISNART FOOD PROSSOR IS NOT JUST A KITCHEN APPLIANCE IT'S A TOY. (MY TOY)

I shopped all over town for this food processor. It was from $30-40 less expensive with Amazon with free shipping! It is a gift and is the same product I have owned myself for about 20 years, so I am sure it is going to be fine. I have owned cheaper food processors and they just don't holdup or work as well as Cuisinart!
