The sides of this 10-inch nonstick griddle are low and slope gently, so your crêpes slide out without falling apart and your pancakes flip easily. No matter what you're cooking, you're guaranteed quick and even heat distribution, easy food release, and simple cleaning, thanks to the pan's three layers: an aluminum core, a hard-anodized exterior, and a reinforced nonstick surface. The aluminum core provides rapid heat conduction, while the hard-anodized exterior increases the griddle's durability. The nonstick surface allows you to cook low-fat meals without using any oil or butter. The griddle includes a collector's edition recipe card. Very well pleased
I am very pleased with my griddle/crepe pan by, Calphalon. It a very good product. It is a heavy well made griddle/crepe pan. I would recommend it to anyone.The price was great for the quality of the product. I use it almost every day.

Christmas Presents

Superb low-sided non-stick 10" pan. This is the one. Stop looking and buy it.
My wonderful non-stick Wegman's pan finally just wasn't doing the job anymore - unfortunately they no longer make the same one - it was very high quality non-stick, solid heavy and could be moved from stove top to oven if desired. Clearly having one very very good skillet is an essential, and much more useful than an assortment of lesser tools.

After a fair amount of research I decided to try out this Calphalon model. It was very similar to one that I bought for my father a few years ago, except in a larger 10" format. And, this pan does not disappoint - not one bit.

Amazing non-stick surface. It also has super nice heavy construction that holds a very consistent temperature. Some people have taken away a star or half due to the pan's weight - the weight is a benefit, truly. I don't have to hold the handle while stirring or flipping the food. Not many pans can boast that, leaving my other hand free to hold my plate or bowls with ingredients.

Even with eggs over easy, I can get away without using any oil/butter at all if I'm a bit careful. But I'd probably recommend using just the very slightest amount. And I definitely don't bother using any with scrambled eggs, etc. It also does a great job on pancakes and grilled chicken breasts.

This pan is an excellent value, and I expect it to last at least 5 years of regular use. Even if I replace it every 3-4 years, I really don't care - it's a great pan.

Great pan
I love this pan. It takes a while to heat up, but when it gets hot, it'll keep the heat fairly distributed. I use this pan primarily for pancakes and crepes and it works great. I never need to add butter/oil/nonstick to the pan.

Make sure you use a silicone utensil and keep the nonstick surface safe. Don't use the rough side of the sponge when washing and it should last for a long time

Too shallow and hard to clean
this pan is too shallow to use for anything but eggs. It is too steep sided to really make and toss a crepe. It is of nice quality and the nonstick surface appears nice however this pan lacks multi functional use. I have no clue where all these glowing reviews come from.
