Product Description Panacur (fenbendazole) is typically used to treat hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, and whipworms in dogs. It is used by veterinarians to treat other parasites as well. It is available as 1Gm, 2Gm and 4Gm powder packets. The usual dose for dogs is one packet, based on weight, given once a day for 3 consecutive days. The medication can be mixed with a small amount of the animals usual food. Dry dog food may require slight moistening to allow for proper mixing.

review by: date: 2007-10-20 rating: Worms be gone! Although this product was recommended to me by a vet in CA it worked very well on my puppy here at a much higher altitude. The vet gave me a different dose amount to figure than what is on the package because I feed raw meat and am trying to get down to basics with my animals as well as myself.
It was easy to give and my puppy's coat and anxiety about food has improved. He now has shiny, wavy hair instead of dull, wiry hair and isn't lunging at his food like he's starving.
I will buy more of this product when it is time and will use the same brand with my cats.
