BEST HANDS FREE DEVICE YET!!!!
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! THE USAGE IS NOT LIMITED TO THE CAR. I USE IT IN MY HOME WHEN I DON'T FEEL LIKE HOLDING MY CELL PHONE OR NEED MY HANDS TO BE FREE. IN THE CAR IT IS PERFECT. IT'S MUCH BETTER THAN AN EARPIECE OR A BLUETOOTH EAR PIECE (WHICH DROPS CALLS OR REDIALS BY ITSELF). YOU DON'T HAVE TO CONSTANTLY CHARGE IT AND ITS EASY TO SYNC WITH YOUR PHONE. IM ON MY 3RD PHONE AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM. THE SOUND IS EXCELLENT. WHEN MY HUSBAND CALLS HE CAN HOLD CONVERSATION WITH OUR DAUGHTER WHO IS SEATED IN THE BACKSEAT. THE SOUND IS CLEAR. IT WORKS BETTER THAN MY HUSBANDS BLUETOOTH SYSTEM INSTALLED IN HIS BMW THAT HE PAYED MUCH MORE FOR AND ITS LIMITED TO HIS CAR ONLY! ALL THAT MONEY HE SPENT AND IT DOESN'T EVEN BLOCK OUT BACKGROUND NOISE LIKE THIS DOES, AND IT DROPS CALLS! YOU DON'T HAVE TO ROLL UP WINDOWS TO GET CLEAR SOUND WITH THE BLUEANT AND IT NEVER DROPED A CALL. I CAN USE THIS DEVICE IN ANYCAR, EVEN WHEN I GO ON VACATION AND DECIDE TO RENT A CAR....DON'T HESITATE, GET THIS DEVICE AND TRY IT! IT'S MUCH CHEAPER THAN A TICKET FROM THE POLICE FOR USING YOUR HANDHELD PHONE WHILE DRIVING...AND SAFER!

Clear Voice, Long Battery
I've compared a few bluetooth devices, including the one sold at costco (VR3 Bluetooth). The one at costco wasn't bad, but i was rooting for it rather than being totally impressed.

Get this blue ant if:
you mostly talk on the phone in the car, or are tired of bluetooth battery going dead. if the battery is dead it comes with a 12v charger for the car.


Battery:
you can leave it on standby for a month without battery going dead (if not using it)
- when you are stepping out of your car or not using blue ant all you have to do is push mic in (which turns it off) and the battery can last a long time.
- I talked quite a bit on one charge over a 3 month time period because i turned the device off when stepping out of my car.

function:
when you push in mic and turn it off, the call will be transferred to your phone. if already on a call and getting in your car... all you have to do is turn on blue ant and hit the green button to transfer call. EASY

Sound quality:
I called other cell phones with different providers, home phones, you name it, and they all worked well. Any problems were never the device, it would be something that would happen if you weren't using a bluetooth device (for example bad cell signal)...and a lot of time other parties ear bluetooth devices were the culprit... When i made them disconnect their bluetooth device the problems went away.

If this is the first (or near first) review your reading for a car bluetooth device consider yourself lucky and stop looking. Go with the blue ant line (bluetooth light, supertooth, and i think they have another model). If you find one that is better it won't be worth the time you spend finding it. This is a good (anally retentive tested) device. If someday you find a better one, it will be because of a feature that doesn't exist yet in 2008. Then you can give this one as a gift to someone that wants something simple, that just works and doesn't do anything fancy.

Supertooth light = for mom or simple operation
supertooth 3 = voice spoken contacts..(if compatible with phone)...or you can always briefly look at phone to see who is calling. I don't think its worth it. Just wanted to mention supertooth 3 so you know you don't need it.

I would say good luck, but i'd rather say don't be stupid. I've wasted my time so you don't have to waste yours. :)

Very convinient! Great sound. Would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a hands free device for the car.

BlueAnt Wireless Speakerphone- Awesome!!!
This product is fabulous! Simple, easy to marry up with your CellPhone, and crystal clear sound!
I highly recommend this item!

Great gadget!
I love my blue ant. Being older, it has great volume and is easy to use. I don't like those things hanging from my ear, and the blue ant rests nicely on my car visor. Great item for hands free driving.
