Chet and Tommy - a great combination
What could be better than a CD featuring Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel together? Actually most pieces are by EITHER Chet OR Tommy and there are just a couple of songs performed by the two of them together. But this is a fun CD, showcasing the talents of both men. I prefer some of their other work but if you're a fan of both men this Cd will round out your collection nicely.

Guitar Music
Wonderful collection & well put together. The recording jumps out at you on a fine audio system. I put this on & it motivates me. Great Buy for the music lover. You gotta love Chet :)

When Fingerpickers Take Over the World
Two fantastic pickers together...Atkins was a great teacher and Emmanuel was obviously an outstanding student. Atkins has someone who can almost fill is shoes.

unison is not for masters
Both these performers are masters of their style. As such, they should alternate, as in Duel, not try to synchronize. Their individuality gets lost and the personal subtlety makes the music "muddy" The result was only good, not great.
