Athens model: best crocs yet!
As wonderful and comfortable as all crocs are, the Athens thong is easily the best model this great company has released so far. The heel is much more deeply cushioned/supported and stabilized than in many other crocs, and the sole conforms to the natural contours of human feet (providing just enough lift for spinal alignment like you'd find in Dansko clogs). The Athens could easily be worn in place of a running shoe for all-day walking on almost any type of warm-weather terrain. If fact, it's probably better than a running shoe in terms of both bouncy, supportive comfort and general lightness of weight. Fantastic!!!

Love 'em!
My crocs athens are very comfortable. Even though I have narrow feet, they still fit them well. I thought they might rub really bad at first but it wasn't bad at all. I got a tiny red mark on my right foot and that was it. Usually these kind of sandals make blisters the first time I wear them. I was so happy I didn't have to deal with blisters!! I highly recommend these shoes to others.

very wide
I normally wear a 9 medium and ordered an 8. I'm glad I read the reviews and ordered a size down. But still the shoe is very wide, and this means that the back of my foot, from instep back, shifts from side to side since there's so much room and the strap doesn't hug (or even touch) the foot starting half-way back. Seems like it would fit a guy's foot better. I kind of like the wideness in the toe, however, because my pinkie doesn't hang off the edge as it does in some other thongs. The cushion in the heel seems like a big plus, but there's absolutely no arch support as there could easily have been in a molded shoe such as this one. I like the light weight and the army green color--it will match a lot of outfits.

Love it
There is lots of cushion especially at the heel. I walk on cement all the time and these shoes really help my sore feet. They also come in many different colors. I want a blue and black pair now.

Kept me comfortable all over Croatia!
I never would have thought that I would owe a pair of Crocs but these are not only cute but VERY comfortable. I recently took them on vacation to Slovenia and Croatia where I did extensive walking and I did not regret it!
